A reference work in terms of Canada’s railway history

Canadian Rail is a specialized magazine about Canada’s railway history. It includes historical articles, essays, and photo stories of Canada’s national, regional or urban railways, as well as various texts showcasing railway vehicles.

Published 6 times per year, Canadian Rail is mailed to CRHA members free of charge. It is filled with feature stories that are sure to interest those who are passionate about preserving Canada’s railway heritage. You will enjoy historical articles that relate the ups and downs that led to the creation of Canada’s railway network, as well as other historical information about Canada’s railway.

You may consult back issues of Canadian Rail. To order more recent issues (published within the last two years), simply fill out the form. For information, please contact gerald.bouchard@exporail.org. Magazines will be sent upon reception of the payment.

Canadian Rail is presently enjoyed by members all around the world and has become an authoritative and respected voice in the field of Canadian railway history. Feel free to submit your own articles, photos, or subjects. No payment can be made for contributions because the magazine is published by volunteers. However, all contributors will be given credit for the material submitted. The material will be returned to the contributor if requested.
